Create your own Dead Guy beer can to win $2,000. I entered the Rogue Brewery contest with my illustration and hand-painted can. The woodcut block print technique inspires the style, and the texture creates a gritty and spooky feel. The skull is the focal point, combined with a budding hop. The mysterious color fade provides a colorful contrast for the all-black can and illustration. The lettering is hand-cut with a blade to create the stamp effect. For my final submission, I experimented with three color variations. I used aerosol and acrylic paint to paint the beer can.
